Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is the American professional basketball player with the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played for Notre Dame Fighting Irish in her college days before being drafted as the 5th overall pick by the Wings in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her twin brothers. She was named to the 7th July roster of 2014 and was selected for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first year of collegiate basketball. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for the shots she hit during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale is, despite being a relative newcomer to the basketball game, is already establishing herself as the best player. She will surely remain in the spotlight for a long time.
