Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the combat sports. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via the first round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her third round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She continued to dominate and won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's final round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
