Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. In 1941, when Richard Bruce Cheney was 13 years old, he and his family left Lincoln Nebraska and moved to Casper Wyoming and his father worked for his position as the head of U.S. Department of Agriculture's regional conservation districts.
